Another fanart for IrvingZissman from his story "The Mall of Shopping" which I believe can be found on his profile. It's an amusing fic where Starfire convinces Raven to go shopping with her, and hilarity ensues. Nevertheless, without Raven's knowlege Starfire purchases a special outfit to surprise everyone with, nearly sending Robin into a coma. This would be my vision.

I am actually somewhat disappointed with the colored pencil work. I have to admit I wasn't feeling all that great when I colored this, so maybe next time I shouldn't slam a rather potent strawberry banana shake before I try drawing.

Oh yeah, surprising indeed. Not too surprising though, considering the way Tamaranians usually dress. They dress pretty revealing.

Like the sexy maid dress on Starfire, wish to see that on Kiva from Megas.
True, they do dress rather revealing, but I think the surprise part comes in because of the associations one makes with hot girls dressed like a French maid. Even if she constantly wears a short skirt and shows her midriff, I think anyone would still be shocked to see her in an outfit meant to be sexy and seductive. I totally think that if Teen Titans could push the ratings higher, Starfire could have a very very seductive side to her!
Thank you! And yeah, Megas XLR was a really funny show. Unfortunately I don't even have time to watch Teen Titans anymore, much less anything else. Makes me sad. :(
They definitely could push the ratings higher like that, but then you'd probably have angry mothers protesting and what not. Unfortunately, Teen Titans is meant to be for kids. The show has the potential to be a great show for more adult audiences, and that's what I've always wanted to see in that show.

Unless you own any of the DVDs, good luck trying to watch Titans. It's on 6 AM on Cartoon Network and that's really about it. They've pretty much buried the show.

Oh, God I know. It makes me so sad. I was totally trying to figure out when they were showing it, and one schedule said 3pm, though I think it would actually be 2pm for me, and when I tried to watch it, no Titans. It made me so sad. I am seriously considering shelling out for the DVD's though, because it's such a clever show. Stupid cartoonnetwork, dropping my show. *grumble*
Oh I totally totally wish they could push the ratings and make it a show for adults, or even at least older kids. I wish they'd kind of realize that older audiences appreciate the show probably more than the little kids do. But it would be so cool if fighting scenes could be even more graphic, plots a little deeper and more twisted, and potential for romance between Titans. I really wish they could push it like that, cause it would be awesome. For now unfortunately we have to rely on good fanfiction for that. But yeah, I'm pretty sure if they were to push ratings the show would have to be on adult swim or shown at a definite later hour, or there would be protesting about the content. It's too bad, really. The show has so much potential! Isn't the real Teen Titans comics kinda racy in itself though? I believe those were meant for older audiences too... I mean come on! Look at Starfire's outfit. Especially too each Titan's rather tragic background. No one talks about Starfire or Beast Boy's pasts in the animated version, which are pretty sad.
